We will complete a drawing of an endive by creating one area at a time. This project will take 6 steps to complete as we continue to draw each area moving closer to the completed drawing. The final work of art will be shaded with color resulting in a artwork you will be proud to show off!
Time Needed: 20 minutes
-
Create The Basic Outline
Draw a tilted oval for the basic shape of our vegetable.
-
Add The Lower Leaves
Then, draw the lower leaves of the endive like the drawing shown.
-
Draw More Leaves
Continue adding overlapping leaves until they cover up the basic shape we drew in step one.
-
Add Details To The Leaves
Now we are going to add details inside the lower leaves. Endive plants are known to have curly leaves.
-
Complete The Smallest Leaves
Now draw the remaining details to the smallest leaves near the top of the vegetable.
-
Color Your Drawing
Now grab your coloring materials and enjoy working on the colors. Here, we added shadows and highlights by using different shades of green and yellow-green.
