How to Draw Milk and Cookies

This step by step lesson will teach you how to draw the classic milk & cookies. We will pay attention to the shapes of each area and variety of contours created making sure that the artwork looks convincing.

1. Outline A Cookie

   

   Draw an oval to outline a cookie.

2. Add The Chocolate Chip Toppings

   

   Add chocolate chip toppings to the cookie by drawing circles.

3. Create A Stack Of Cookies

   

   Let’s create a stack of cookies. First, outline the shape of the cookies by drawing rounded shapes as shown.

4. Add Chocolate Chip Toppings

   

   Add chocolate chip toppings by drawing circles on each cookie in the stack.

5. Draw The Mouth Of The Cup

   

   Create an oval to draw the mouth of the cup.

6. Form The Body Of The Cup

   

   Form the body of the cup by drawing a U-shaped line with sharp corners.

7. Add Milk

   

   Now, let’s add milk inside the cup. First, draw an almond shape. Then, attach a U-shaped line following the shape of the cup as shown.

8. Draw A Straw

   

   Draw a straw inside the cup by creating a narrow rectangle. Add a pattern to the straw by drawing evenly spaced diagonal lines. Don’t forget to draw the opening of the straw by making a curved line at the tip as shown.

9. Complete The Cookies And Milk Drawing

   

   Complete the cookies and milk drawing by coloring the cookies with a brown crayon. Use a darker shade of brown to color in the chocolate chips. Next, color the glass cup with a blue crayon and add hints of white at the center to create some reflection. Then, color the milk with a creamy color that is almost close to white. Lastly, color the straw with red and white crayons alternatingly.
