How to Draw Noodles

Materials
- Pencil
- Drawing Paper
- Crayons or Colored Pencils
- Black Marker (optional)

In this article, we will start off with a blank piece of paper and discover how to draw noodles in a series of 6 steps. It’s best if we observe the proportions of each of the drawn parts of the noodles.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Outline The Bowl
First, draw a curve to outline the bowl.

Draw The Rim And Foot
Now, draw the rim of the bowl by forming an almond shape. Then, draw the foot of the bowl by forming the line as shown.

Add The Chopsticks
Let’s add a pair of chopsticks to our bowl of noodles. To draw a chopstick, create a slender rectangle as shown.

Draw The Noodles
Start filling the bowl with noodles by drawing squiggly lines.

Add More Noodles
Continue drawing squiggly lines until the bowl is filled with noodles. Draw noodle strands hanging from the chopsticks as shown. Erase parts of the chopsticks that overlap with the noodle strands.

Complete The Noodles Drawing
Let’s complete the drawing by coloring the noodles with a yellow crayon. Next, color in the bowl with a red crayon. Then, shade the chopsticks with an orange crayon. You can use yellow and purple crayons at the end of the chopsticks to add more detail.
