How to Draw the Corpse Bride

This tutorial will instruct you how to draw the corpse bride. We will draw attention to the shapes of each part and types of outlines drawn so that the drawing looks convincing.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

1. Outline The Head

   

   Outline the U-shaped head of the corpse bride.

2. Form The Face

   

   Start by drawing two circles for the eyes. Next, add a small triangle for the nose. Now, draw the brows by making two diagonal lines. Then, form the shape of the lips as shown.

3. Add The Pupil And Lashes

   

   Let’s make the bride’s eyes pop a little more by drawing her lashes using small straight lines. Then, draw her pupils by creating a dot at the center of both eyes.

4. Form The Body

   

   Now, draw the shape of the bride’s beautiful gown similar to the illustration.

5. Attach The Limbs

   

   Next, draw the bride’s arms attached to the sides of the torso. Make sure to erase parts of the torso that overlap with the arms. Next, add the bride’s long legs visible near the bottom of her gown. Then, form the shape of the bride’s feet wearing elegant heels as shown.

6. Draw The Hair

   

   Now, draw the bride’s long wavy hair.

7. Attach Flowers

   

   Let’s draw the dead flower headpiece befitting the deceased bride by drawing small flower shapes on top of her head.

8. Add The Veil

   

   Add the corpse bride’s torn veil by drawing a jagged shape.

9. Complete The Corpse Bride Drawing

   

   Now, let’s give some life to our corpse bride drawing by adding some color! First, use a dark blue crayon to shade the bride’s hair, nose and heels. Next, use a light blue crayon to color the bride’s skin. Now, use a white crayon to fill in the eyes. For the lips, use a rosy red crayon. Then, for the gown and veil, use very light shades of gray. Finally, for the flower headpiece, let’s use a black crayon.
