How To Draw Vampire Bat: All Steps

In today’s lesson, we are going to learn how to draw vampire bat on paper. The shape and proportion of each part will be highlighted in each step of the tutorial. Note that the blue lines are used to indicate the newest lines being drawn in each step.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

  1. Draw A Face

    First, we draw to oval shapes for bat’s eyes. We can now add the nose by drawing a curved oval with two dots. Next, form a curvy line for the mouth then attach two small, V-shapes for its fangs.

  2. Outline The Head

    Outline the head by forming a circular shape. Don’t forget to add a little point on the top of the bat’s head to highlight its fur.

  3. Attach The Ears

    Outline the ears by first drawing a pointed shape and then adding a curved line to form the flaps.
