Materials
- Pencil
- Drawing Paper

The goal is to complete a drawing of waffles by drawing one section at a time. It will take 9 steps to complete as we continue to create each area moving closer to the finished artwork. The finished work of art will be finished off with color resulting in a artwork you can be proud of!

First Outline The Waffle
First, outline the waffle by creating a rectangular shape.

Now Outline A Stack Of Waffles
Now, outline a stack of waffles below it by drawing more rectangular shapes. Don’t forget to erase any overlaps!

Draw Waffle Sides
Add a line following the shape of each waffle so that they look more 3D.

Draw The Plate
Draw the plate by forming two ovals.

Add Whipped Cream
Add whipped cream by drawing a squiggly dome shape. Then, add short horizontal lines to add some texture to the whipped cream.

Add Blueberries
Add blueberries by drawing circular shapes with a short curved line inside it.

Draw The Waffle Pockets
Draw the waffle pockets by forming small square shapes on the surface of the waffle like in the illustration.

Define The Waffle Pockets
Define the shape inside the pockets of the waffle by adding the lines as shown.

Complete The Waffles Drawing
Let’s finish the waffles drawing by adding color to it! First, color the waffles mainly with an orange crayon. Use a darker orange to add some shadows to parts like in the pockets of the waffle and under the toppings. Next, color the whipped cream with white and light brown crayons. Now, color the blueberries with blue and purple crayons. Finally, shade the plate with a blue crayon.
