In today’s guided lesson, we are going to learn how to create a llama drawing on paper. The size of each part will be highlighted in each step of the tutorial. Take notice that the blue lines have been drawn to show the current shapes being drawn in each in each of the steps.
Time Needed: 20 minutes
Form The Head
First, outline the shape of the llama’s head. Next, draw a shaded oval for the eye. Draw a line curving upwards for the nose and mouth.
Attach The Ears
Attach the pointed narrow shape of the llama’s ears similar to the illustration.
Outline The Body
Outline the furry shape of the llama’s body connected to its head.
Draw The Legs
Draw the elongated shape of the llama’s legs.
Add The Tail
Now, create a thin short line to form the llama’s tail.
Complete The Llama Drawing
Let’s complete the llama drawing by adding some color! First, use a dark brown crayon to color the inner ears. Next, fill in the rest of the llama’s body using a white crayon. Add some shading to the legs using a cream colored crayon.
