Materials
- Pencil

- Crayon or Colored Pencils

In this article, we will start off with a blank piece of paper and discover how to draw a narwhal drawing in no time. It’s best if we pay attention to the proportions of each part of the narwhal.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Start The Body Shape
In the middle of the page, draw a curved line to start off the body.

Finish The Body
Draw another curved line that connects to the other line at only one spot on the left side.

Add Fins And Tail
Add the tail on the right side where the gap was left. Add the two fins and erase where one of them overlaps the body.

Add The Horn
Draw the long horn on the left side, connecting to the head.

Draw The Face
Add an eye and mouth for the face.

Add Color
Narwhals can be found with white underbellies and lots of grey spots on the tops of their bodies and fins.

Big Swimming Unicorns?
Have you ever seen a big unicorn swimming in the ocean?
Narwhals live in the Arctic Ocean and around the coastlines of Canada, Greenland and Norway. They love the cold water in the Northern climates of the world.
Narwhals have tusks which they use to hunt but also survive. They’re actually one of the most unique features of this animal. However, typically only the males have these long spikes sticking out of the front of their heads.
Adult male narwhals grow to be about 15 feet long and weigh over three-thousand pounds! Their tusk which is actually just a a very long, pointed tooth can grow up to 9 feet in length. I which dentist a narwhal visits?!!!
Narwhals are very social and live in groups, usually groups of three to eight whales per group but sometimes even more than that!
Biologists believe that narwhals live to about 35 years of age.
