Time Needed: 30 minutes
-
Draw The Head

Near the top right of the page, draw the cat’s head and give it a cute face.
-
Draw The Body

Use curved lines to get the basic shape of the cat’s body, and add the back and front legs. Leave a space where the tail will connect to the body.
-
Add The Tail

Give the cat a large curved tail. It’s okay if it doesn’t look perfect because it will be covered in fur later.
-
Draw A Guideline For Large Clumps Of Fur

Norwegian forest cats are very fluffy, so it’s best to draw a light guideline to show where the largest parts of fur will be. Lightly draw the guides around the face and chest.
-
Add The Fur Around The Head

Use your guideline to get the shape of the fur around the face just right. Add some fluff to the ears and erase where the head lines are no longer needed.
-
Draw The Fur On The Body

When you add the fur to the body, use the guideline around the chest and back. Erase the guideline when you’re finished.
-
Add Fur To The Legs

Add fur around the line of the back leg, and give the feet some fur as well.
-
Make The Tail Fluffy

Using the tail shape you drew before, make this cat’s tail super fluffy.
-
Color It In

Norwegian forest cats come in a variety of different colors and patterns, so choose one that you like and color in this cat.
