In this how-to article, we will start off with a blank piece of paper and learn how to create a pretzel drawing in no time. We will pay attention to the shape and size of each part of the pretzel.

Draw The Pretzel Outline
Draw the dough part like a heart shape with soft curves; similar to the example.

Add Details
Since the pretzel is twisted, we are going to add the inner curved lines.

Complete The Dough
Now we are going to make the twisted part in the middle. Simply follow through the lines and then we are going to erase the parts that remain behind and should remain hidden.

Draw The Toppings
Then, draw curved lines and small square lines on top of the dough. This pretzel drawing is topped with salt and mustard! This is a great time to customize your drawing… What toppings would you like to draw on your pretzel?
