Materials
- Pencil
- Drawing Paper
- Crayons or Colored Pencils
- Black Marker (optional)

In this lesson, we will discover how to create a ragdoll cat drawing on paper. To make sure it looks great, we will observe the different sizes and shapes of each part of the ragdoll cat. The drawn lines in each illustration is drawn blue so you can identify the current lines that you should be working on.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Draw The Head
Starting near the top left corner of the page, draw the cat’s basic head shape.

Add The Front Legs
Draw the two front legs with the leftmost one connecting to the head to create the chest area.

Add The Tail And Back
One of a ragdoll cat’s most important features is it’s large fluffy tail, so make sure to make it a bit fluffier than normal. Connect the tail to the head with a straight line to make the back.

Draw The Back Legs
Draw one of the back legs connected to the tail, and make the belly with a curved line connecting the front and back legs. Add in the leg that would be behind.

Add Details
Give the cat a cute face and detail the ears and feet.

Add Color
Ragdoll cats typically have color around their eyes, ears, and tail, with the rest of them being a white or a very light brown.
