- Pencil

In today’s lesson, we are going to discover how to create a squash drawing on paper. The shape and proportion of each part will be observed in each step of the lesson. Take notice that the blue lines are used to show the new shapes being created in each step.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Draw Squash Slice
Make a semi-circle on the right side of your paper.

Add Seeds Inside The Squash
Then, complete the details of the sliced squash by adding its outer skin and seeds.

Draw A Whole Squash
Now draw a bumpy squash in its entirety in the background of your paper.

Add The Stem
Then draw the stem on top of the squash.

Draw Leftover Vines
Since squashes grow from vines there are sometimes remnants of these vines near the stem. Let’s draw some now.

Complete Your Drawing
Color your squash with your available coloring materials. Squashes come in many colors and varieties so feel free to get creative with the coloring!
