In today’s lesson, we are going to discover how to draw a strawberry drawing for kids on paper. The shape and proportion of each part will be considered in each step of the lesson. Observe that the blue outlines are used to show the new shapes being drawn in each in each of the steps.
Time Needed: 20 minutes

Draw The Main Shape
Begin your strawberry artwork by drawing a big heart shape on your paper.

Add The Seeds
Draw many small ovals inside your strawberry shape. These little ovals will be the strawberry seeds.

Draw Leaves At The Top
Then, draw the leaves over the top of your strawberry. These green, leafy parts are known as the Calyx.

Add The Stem
Draw a small vertical rectangle at the top of the leaves. The stem should attach near the middle of the strawberry’s top.

Add To The Calyx
Complete your line drawing by adding more leafy parts to the Calyx.

Color Your Drawing
Grab your red, green, and yellow drawing tools and color your strawberry drawing. Notice how I made part of the strawberry shaded with lighter and darker reds? This makes the strawberry look three-dimensional.
