In this lesson, we will discover how to make a tractor drawing quite easily on paper. To make sure it looks decent enough, we will proportion out the different sizes and shapes of each part of the vehicle. The lines in each step is made of blue so you can identify the most recent shapes that you should be working on.
Time Needed: 30 minutes
First Draw The Tires
First, draw two circles to form the tires. Next, add a smaller circle on each tire to draw the rims. Now, form the spokes by drawing straight lines.
Add The Fender
Form the fender by drawing a curved line above the tire. Add short horizontal lines to form the inner part of the fender.
Form The Body Of The Tractor
Next, outline the rectangular shape of the tractor’s body. Now, draw a long horizontal strip attached to the bottom of the body to form the bumper. Then, add three horizontal lines on the side of the tractor’s body. Draw the footrest by making a horizontal line.
Draw The Headlight
Draw the curved outline of the headlight.
Outline The Seat
Next, outline the rectangular shape of the seat.
Add The Steering Wheel
Now, draw a diagonal rectangle to form the steering wheel. Then, add two diagonal lines to draw the steering column.
Attach The Exhaust Pipe
Draw a stack of thin upright rectangles to form the exhaust pipe.
Outline The Cab
Next, draw two long vertical lines. Then, attach the horizontal roof of the cab.
Complete The Easy Drawing Of A Tractor
Grab your crayons and add some color to our easy drawing of a tractor! First, use a yellow crayon to color the seat and headlight. Next, color the tires, bumper, steering wheel and the exhaust pipe with shades of gray. Then, fill in the body and cab of the tractor with a red crayon.
