Water Buffalo Drawing: All Steps

In this lesson, we will start with a blank piece of paper and learn how to make a water buffalo drawing in no time. We will pay attention to the shape and size of each part of the water buffalo.

Time Needed: 30 minutes

  1. Outline The Head

    Form the oval-like shape to outline the water buffalo’s head.

  2. Create The Eyes

    Create two shaded ovals for the eyes.

  3. Add The Snout

    First, draw an oval with two dots. Next, create a curved line to form the mouth.

  4. Attach The Ears

    Attach the long pointed shape of the water buffalo’s ears on both sides of its head.

  5. Add The Horns

    Add the curved shape of the water buffalo’s horns on top of its head.

  6. Outline The Body

    Outline the rounded shape of the water buffalo’s body.

  7. Attach The Legs

    Draw the thin long shape of the water buffalo’s legs attached to the bottom of its body.

  8. Form The Tail

    Draw a thin shape attached to the end of the water buffalo’s body. Add a pointed shape at the tip of the tail.

    Now, let’s give life to our drawing of a water buffalo! First, use a dark gray crayon to shade the horns, inner ears, snout, hooves, and the tip of its tail. Next, use a gray crayon to color the rest of the water buffalo’s body.
